ADF Foods is likely to shut down its manufacturing operations at unit located at Sinnar, Nashik as it has received notice from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Regional Office, Nashik on February 28, 2012. MPCB has warned the company in the view of alleged violation of certain pollution control norms, however, the company has submitted its clarifications to the concerned Authority on March 01, 2012.

The company aims to sort out this matter as earliest and till that time the its other manufacturing units/facilities will continue to accommodate the business operations run by the Nashik Unit.

ADF Foods is engaged in manufacturing a wide range of canned, bottled and processed vegetables, fruits and foods for the export and domestic markets. It is a leading manufacturer and exporter of ‘ready-to-eat’ food, pickles, papads, spices and various other products.
